  • 1 1/2 oz swiss chard
  • 2 kiwis - peeled
  • 1 banana - peeled
  • 3 tbsp almonds
  • 1 tsp wheatgrass powder
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup ice

One of the first “superfoods” to gain a lot of popularity, wheatgrass contains chlorophyll, a green pigment in plants that has been shown to support the liver and possibly provide a boost of energy. Banana and kiwis provide hefty dose of natural sweetness, as well as magnesium, potassium and vitamin C, and almonds help turn this smoothie into a satisfying meal replacement.
