Strawberry Orange Spritzer Smoothie Recipe


  • 5 oz red bell pepper - cored, seeded
  • 3 oz strawberries
  • 1 orange - peeled
  • 1 tbsp flaxseed
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup ice

One of the biggest benefits to eating flaxseed is the amount of lignans available per serving. Lignans are “fiber-related polyphenols” (antioxidants) that can actually help balance hormones, and may help fight against hormone-related cancers. Flax also contains both soluble and insoluble fiber, as well as healthy Omega-3 fatty acids.
