Strawberry Cashew Custard


  • 1.5 oz kale
  • 1 pear - cored, chopped
  • 1/2 cup strawberries
  • 2 tbsp raw cashews
  • 1/8 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup vanilla almond milk
  • 1 cup ice

The Strawberry Custard Smoothie reminds us of those cute little custard dessert tarts. Adding cashews to smoothies not only makes for an ultra creamy drink, it also contains an abundant amount of minerals such as magnesium and iron. Magnesium helps to regulate muscle and nerve function, blood sugar levels and blood pressure, while iron is an important part of hemoglobin, which helps transport oxygen through the body.
