  • 1 persimmon - topped
  • 1 slice cantaloupe
  • 4 oz mango
  • 3 tbsp walnuts
  • 1/2 tsp camu camu
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup ice

Originally from Japan and looking like little orange tomatoes, persimmons have almost half of your daily recommended amount of vitamin A, and a nice dose of vitamin C as well. They’re also high in antioxidants and fiber. Mangos are full of vitamin C and fiber as well, with an extra burst of potassium. Camu camu kicks this smoothie into full vitamin C gear, since this Amazonian superfruit is the densest natural source of vitamin C on record. It’s also a great anti-inflammatory. Add in some healthy, unsaturated fat from walnuts and antioxidants from cantaloupe, and you’ve got an immune-boosting super smoothie that will kick any kind of sniffle to the curb.
