  • 1 1/2 oz swiss chard
  • 2 oranges - peeled
  • 1 tbsp hemp seed
  • 1 tsp camu camu powder
  • 1 tbsp goji berries
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup ice

One of the best ways to fight back against inflammation (and germs) is to get a lot of vitamin C during the day. This smoothie provides more than 100% of your daily vitamin C needs thanks to camu camu (a South American superfruit that has more vitamin C per serving than almost any other food) and two oranges. Goji berries also provide vitamin C, and have the ability to help regulate blood sugar. Add in some protein and healthy fats from hemp seed, and vitamin K and iron from swiss chard, and you have a lean, mean, germ fighting machine in a cup.
