Green Protein Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 oz lacinato kale
  • 1 tangerine - peeled
  • 4 oz pineapple
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1 tbsp pea protein
  • 3 tbsp almonds
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup ice

Extremely high in vitamins K, A and C, with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, kale is one of the best dark leafy greens you can eat. Combine it with the additional vitamin C (and natural sweetness) of a tangerine and pineapple, as well as the healthy fat and protein of half an avocado, and you have a super green smoothie that tastes like a dream.
