- 1 ½ oz baby kale
- 1 kiwi - peeled
- 1 pear - chopped
- 1 tsp green coffee
- 3 tbsp cashews
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup ice
Green coffee powder comes from coffee beans that haven’t been roasted yet, and because of this, have a high chlorogenic acid content. Chlorogenic acid has been shown to be effective in both lowering blood pressure and containing blood sugar spikes. Cashews have one of the lowest fat content of all nuts, and more than half of the fat they do have is healthy monounsaturated fats (the kind found in olive oil). Add in some vitamin C from the kiwi, pear and kale, and this super green smoothie will not only energize you, but keep you satisfied and balanced all day long!
