Golden Goji Energy

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz baby spinach
  • 1 orange - peeled
  • 1 banana - peeled
  • 3 tbsp cashews
  • 1 tsp camu camu powder
  • 1 tbsp goji berries
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup ice

Reportedly used in Chinese medicine starting as early as 200 B.C, goji berries contain iron, fiber, protein, antioxidants and essential amino acids. In addition to being a powerful superfruit for energy, goji berries have also been studied for their ability to help ward off blood sugar spikes. Another superfood that helps increase verve and vigor, camu camu has more vitamin C per serving than almost any other food on the planet. Blend in some cashews for healthy fat and protein, and a banana, orange and spinach for some sweetness and additional complexion-loving vitamins, and you’ve got a meal replacement that shows both your skin and your immune system some love.
