  • 1 golden beet - scrubbed, chopped
  • 1 orange - peeled
  • 1/4 cup raspberries
  • 1 tbsp flaxseed
  • 1 cup coconut water
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes

We love the Golden Beets and Orange smoothie for its savory flavors and bright color. Aside from the uber healthy benefits of golden beets (high in antioxidants and fiber), they also taste delicious. If the earthy flavor of its red counterpart is too much, the golden beet might be a great gateway root vegetable. It is slightly sweeter and its earthy tones are more subtle which go hand-in-hand with the light crisp flavors of oranges and raspberries. Also, peeling these guys won’t turn your hands fuchsia. #winning
