Irish Coffee


  • 1 1/2 oz collard greens
  • 1 pear - chopped
  • 5 oz grapes
  • 3 tbsp rolled oats
  • 1/2 tsp green coffee
  • 3 tbsp coconut milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup ice

While a traditional Irish coffee is made with whiskey, this healthy smoothie version uses green coffee powder, which is made from unroasted coffee beans. In addition to being rich in antioxidants (as well as caffeine), green coffee also contains chlorogenic acid, a natural compound that has been linked to weight loss. Mixing it up with some heart-healthy, cholesterol-lowering rolled oats, creamy coconut milk, cancer-fighting grapes, and collard greens (rich in vitamin A and protein), and you’ve got an energizing green drink that will keep you satisfied all day long.
