Chocolate Covered Strawberry


  • 1.5 oz tatsoi spinach
  • 1 cup strawberries
  • 1 banana
  • 1 tbsp raw cacao powder
  • 1 tbsp sunflower seeds - raw
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes

What is more decadent than a chocolate covered strawberry? Raw cacao powder is made simply by grinding the cacao bean into a fine powder. It blends very easy into your smoothie and has more of that chocolatey flavor than cacao nibs. Cacao is high in magnesium, which is typically lacking in North American diets. Among other things, magnesium aids in regulating muscle and nerve function, your body’s blood sugar levels, and blood pressure.
