Chamomile Lemonade

Ingredients

  • 2 handfuls beet greens
  • 1 orange - peeled
  • 1/2 cup grapes
  • 1/2 lemon - juiced
  • 2 tbsp chamomile flowers
  • 1 tbsp CocoHydro
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup ice

Although you may have thought the lemonade you were selling as a kid was the best, this lemonade is much better. And not to mention, healthier. Prepared lemonade, with its high sugar content, does little to hydrate you. Our lemonade, on the other hand, contains dehydrated coconut water, cocohydro. Cocohydro contains more potassium than any other sports drink and is the perfect way to refuel after a workout. And the addition of the beet greens, which are high in fiber, protein, phosphorous and zinc, really helps this lemonade pack a nutritional punch.

Adding flowers and tea to your smoothie is a great way to increase the flavor without increasing the calories. Try the Lavender Honey Smoothie, Earl Grey Green Tea Smoothie or the Hibiscus Smoothie.
