Green Golden Berry Blend Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz collard greens
  • 4 oz pineapple
  • 1 1/2 oz golden berries - husked
  • 1 pear - chopped
  • 1/2 tsp camu camu
  • 3 tbsp cashews
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup ice

Golden berries (also known as ground cherries), which look like the orange version of regular cherries once they’re husked, have a sweet-tart flavor and are high in vitamins A, C and beta-carotene. Camu camu has more vitamin C than any other food, and pineapple is also loaded with the immune-boosting vitamin (as well as even more beta-carotene and manganese). Full of fiber, pears will help keep you satisfied, while the healthy protein and fats in cashews turn this drink into a bonafide meal.
